A Creative Calling

We are all creative beings. Thus, creativity is my vocation and mode of expression. As an artist and ecopsychologist it has been a calling of mine to be a guide to reconnect myself and others to their creative roots

Throughout my life I have been an image-maker and an image-taker, and have discovered that the body works in images and doesn't think in words.

Thus, I am dedicated to bringing feelings to the surface for others and myself by activating the imagination.

Last Spring, April 2019, I gave a 30-minute presentation entitled "Creatures of Love: Art and Imagination as an Ecopsychological Inquiry" at the Art and Psyche: Illuminated Imagination Conference IV at University of California, Santa Barbara.

I recently received my Doctorate of Arts in Ecopsychology and Environmental Humanities from Viridis Graduate Institute in June of 2018. I completed my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara in 2009, and B.F.A. in Art History and Photography in 1984 from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
